Our Nonprofit Corporation
The ELC Foundation, previously known as The MS Center of Boston, was founded in 2011. The 501 (c) (3) non-profit corporation was established to support the many unmet needs of multiple sclerosis patients, their families and caregivers. The nonprofit supports a financial assistance program, educational programs and support groups.
Through the financial assistance program, the Foundation helps decrease the financial burden of home modifications, assistive devices, nutrition programs, exercise memberships, respite care, service dog program expenses, and more.
The Foundation presents educational programs and support groups, open to the community.
The ELC Foundation raises funds entirely through donations from our patients, families, caregivers, friends, and assorted supporters. Every penny raised goes toward patient services and educational programs.
Donations can be made online or by mailing checks. Checks should be made out to The ELC Foundation and sent to The Elliot Lewis Center, care of Dr. Ellen Lathi or Dr. Joshua Katz at 736 Cambridge St, Boston, MA 02135.

“Your program assisted me in renovating my home and making my bathroom handicapped accessible . . . this was a huge undertaking, very costly, yet life-changing . . . this will allow me to continue living independently . . . for those who donate to your program, please know that your funds have gone directly to assist a progressive MS patient retain her independence.” – Cathy M.
